About
Igor Gawrys

I build AI systems and digital solutions for enterprise clients in energy, eCommerce, and education across Europe.
I started coding at 13, founded my first tech company at 14, and incorporated it at 15. By 16-17, I was managing 25 people and $300K in revenue - learning that managing people is harder than any codebase.
Currently an IT Consultant at SMF GmbH, working on enterprise asset management for the energy sector. I led the company's AI adoption for my development team - GDPR-compliant policies, data censoring, safe LLM use, data residency.
On the side, I experiment with AI - custom skills, workflows, and tools built on top of Claude Code, Codex, and OpenClaw. That habit produced my team's daily AI coding framework. More importantly, the experience helps me support my customers in the new AI era - choosing the right tools, avoiding the obvious pitfalls, and understanding where AI actually delivers versus where it just looks impressive.
I'm not a vibe coder. I remember writing every line by hand, and that experience is what makes the AI systems I build actually work in production.
Based in Katowice, Poland. Working across European and global markets.

Travel taught me more about problem-solving than any textbook. When your train breaks down in rural Mongolia and nobody speaks your language, you learn to adapt fast. That mindset carries directly into engineering - stay calm, find the pattern, build a solution with what you have.
